Its at Ezhome after long time

Dont remember when was the last time we had almost everyone from Nair uncles and our family get together. Calling it almost as Pramod and family was not present. Vidhu bhia and Vinod were in town so excluding Pramod we had everyone.

Small pep talk at the rooftop, talking about property and other stuff (well missed the pakodas as it was served only inside ;))

Onam in Kerala

It was another Onam in Kannur (missed Pramod). Took a week long holiday and went after 3-4 months time.  Dad as usual got flowers for us to put the pookolam.

Dad took the lead to get the pookolam completed.

[24]7 baddy champs

First baddy tournament for [24]7 iLabs and we could easily win the championship (me and Ashwinee). The trophy was given in office by President (could not get hand on the snap).

Kadakani - softnest to personal outing

The Softnest yearly get together got dissolved this year and we had a personalized outing. It was Captain, Vidhu bhai and myself as family. Planned @ Kadakani - Coorg, and had good time.

CMS Invited badminton championship - Runners up

We finished as runners up in the CMS invited badminton championship. Lost to Srikanth/his doubles partner in a three set game (21/15, 14/21, 15/21). They targeted one person and did well strategically to win the match.

This was spread over to 2 weekends. MSC/CSM/SMR were the participants. Was good fun and had a trophy to collect back for home.

Falling sick... not again!!!

Again down with cold/fever/throat infection. Checked with Sagar and doctor prescribed some antibiotics. Decided to take them given the probably travel to UK.

Antibiotics - Centil/Montex

Medicines are taking strong effect, and am out of office for more than 2 days (started medication on Saturday, June 21, and still recovering on June 24).

House tax.....with interest

The Belandur house had property tax payment pending for last 4 years and SMR for 2 years. Cleared all the dues and ended up paying heavy interest. Overall INR 70K paid in taxes.

But feel good that all dues are paid and feel like being responsible citizen:). Now to put reminder to ensure next year on we make the tax payment on time.

Its back to teaching!!!

Meera started her stint back into professional life. This time its WFH and that too teaching (something she enjoys).

This is concept of teach from home enabling people to get job (Java) and one gets paid for teaching and based on candidate enrollment some commission. Interesting change in what she has been doing, but seems she is excited. 

Its NCFE

Sid started going to his new school from today (June 2). This is change from the alternate way to the traditional schooling model.

While we are sure this change is required, we are curious to see how he adapts to the new environment (from being able to sit at the Geniekids doors to proper table and chair). Both of us are anxious, but change that we see is required.

The new uniform seems to be more girlish (which put doubts in our minds if we picked girls dress by mistake). Anyways, for kids of 4 years all these are trivial, and probably after seeing him in the dress for few times, we may also get used to it:)

Summer vacation at Kannur

The next day to Sid b'day we drove down to Kannur. Good time with Pramod also being at home.

Sid turns 4!!!

We celebrated Sid's b'day at 314 this time

Evening we had Bijua and family coming over with a home made cake (yummy it was).

Next day it was drive to Kerala.
