Bangalore tech summit

We as ECOSTP participated in Bangalore Tech summit 2018. We had our stall out in the startup section. The event was for 3 days and was reasonably ok for some connects.

Sid's interest was in the Night Drone racing competition and showed him Volvo stall which had the Volvo bus engine for display.

Hampi Yatre!

Another trip, this time exploring history and architecture in Hampi. Certainly a place which needs more than 2-3 days to explore.

Twins getting older!

It was Capto & Beki birthday time again. We did night bash, and this time Sid also joined. Uncle and Auntiji also witnessed the strange ritual.

We celebrated captains birthday bit early (11:45) so that we could head to Beki. To our surprise Beki already had lots of guests including Rahul & Rena (also Vaishu).

Bijua also had got a cake from Glen's. Sid ended hogging lots of cake at both places and by time we all landed back home it was past 1 AM.

Tandons and Scotland Yard!

Saurabh and family came home for dinner. This time Shail was also along with me. We had stepped out to meet Hamngshu ji for lunch (up on the edge), followed by Pawan in evening @ Imli - where they discussed business plan for 'mystic bamboo'. Shail joined me on way back home and met Saurabh and family.

Had good time and wrapped up the day playing Scotland Yard with Tandon and family.
Same time Sunil Ranganathan was hosting party at home, which i had to give a slip due to guests.

Jins birthday

Jins celeberated his birthday on 9-Nov (though it was on 07-Nov) so that everyone can come home. It was a nice time. We rushed post our lunch with Londoners @ Leela Palace to join him. Meera and Sid also joined (though it was bit hectic with Ayushoma also on the same day).

Londoners are here!!!

Finally we had Renu travelling to India with family. He planned ~3 weeks+ trip (from Oct 19 - Nov 10) which was really good. We witnessed some functions and events:

       1. Mundan ceremony for Gopalan Johan
       2. Ayush-homa for all the kids

It was amazing to have all the family members (FIL/MIL along with Renu family) in Bangalore.

We traveled to Tuticorin for the Mundan ceremony. Johan sat through the function without a single murmur, which surprised everyone.

1. The lift snap

2. The post mundan ceremony

3.In the train (return journey from Tuticorin)

4. The Ayushoma pooja preperation

5. Ayushoma - the preperation

6. Mamooty all set for Ayushoma

7. Luncheon @Jamawar - Leela Palace

For Mundan ceremony we had Balu/Ramani mama, along with ammayi joining the function. Also Balu mamas younger son joined.

For Ayushoma - we had Madiralema and husband joining. Ammu joined for some time and left to office while her daughter was at home with grandparents.

Diwali with a difference

This time Diwali was special and different with Renu and family around. They had planned the trip to witness Diwali in India. With Supreme Court restricting bursting of crackers from 8-10 PM, there was a bit of dampening in fireworks on first day, but could see no boundaries being followed on actual day of Diwali.

Susana and Karishma spent some time painting the 'Diyas'.
Sid and Karishma did try to sell as art work post the painting was done. Interesting bargaining happened, but unfortunately no sales was done;)
Evening time Sid and Karishma were excited to lite up the painted Diya's. Post lighting up Diya's they set it at the entrance and it was one of those mesmerizing moments.

They wanted to see some fireworks so went and bought few Sparklers, flower pots, chakri etc. It was a wonderful evening of Diwali.

New looking hall!!!

We decided to remove the shelf from the main hall (above TV unit) and move it out to Sid room as book shelf. This was one long pending ask from Meera. When Rubwood folks came to move the study table to master bed room, got this work also done.

After removing the shelf, the wall looked all messed up with nail holes all over the wall.
Wall post removal of shelf
Had to get the wall painted before Londoners reached home. Decided to fill the holes using putty and paint the wall by self.
Painter doing his job
It took 3 coatings of paint before the putty color could be concealed. Did mistake of not filling the holes properly with putting, which did show some unevenness in the wall after painting. But overall the wall looked clean and all set (DIY project).
Wall post painters job got completed
Quite a decent work;)

Meeras office space

With Meera becoming a full time employee (WFH), she needed a proper desk space to work. Obvious choice was to get custom desk done with Rubwood (managing to have it as office desk, and handle Sid keyboard).

Initially the desk could not be placed inside the master bedroom due to its size. Thus it was placed in Sid room, making it spaceless (though with natural lights, it looked perfectly placed).

The movement to Sid room was done while Meera and Sid were in Tuticorin. Later after looking at the space availability in Sid room, we decided to move it back to Master bed room (only after Rubwood folks did some cutting for it to enter the room).

Thats the new look office space for Meera;)
