Onam @ Kannur

One week off to Kannur from Sep 03 to Sep 10, 2011.

The drive was good with Pramod, Bhabhi and Prince also joining us. Sid certainly captivating everyones thought with his amazing plays.

Fun was 'Pookolam' for Onam. We all debated through the night on what design we want to put, and in the morning it was the design which was part of floor that got approval (rejecting all others). Snap attached - it certainly looked good.

Finally the cycling happened!

Cycling with Pawan and DK. Route - From home to Indiranagar Flyover - Pawan joined from there. Then to Oasis (spar) where DK joined. From there 4 kms round turn before stopping at one of the Darshinis for Breakfast. Overall covered 26+ kms (first cycling event).

Started around 5:45AM and was back by 8AM back to home.

Sid turns 1

Pretty silent birthday for Sid (at Kerala).

Morning went to temple (Challa). Lunch at home, with payasam.

Fuel price rockets

Another hike in fuel prices and petrol pricess touch INR 65.68. Bangalore right not has the highest petrol rate and it certianly is not helping. People eagerly await metro or some other solution which would help the situation.

Car pooling with Ranjith is helping both financially on petrol expenses and personally on health side.

Mommies birthday bash

Cake from cake world. Dad went and bought couple of sarees as gift for mommies:)

Sid's first casuality

Sid got an eye injury.

Got checked with 3 different doctors. The first two told it is due to allergy and the third said it was due to 'trauma' and not an allergy.

It became worse when after the second consultation we starte anti allergant eye drops. After afternooon and evening drops - evening drops caused big trouble. Within 5 mins of putting the drops he had a bloodspot in his white part of eye:( It was heartbreaking to see the most beautiful and expressive eyes having such bad bloodspot.

Started antibiotic after consulting third doctor. Hoping things will be fine soon.
