KT vanu

KT came to Bangalore for his usual annual vacation. We had few get together including one at Manoj's residence when Tressa went offsite (with Biju's, Ajietan, Augu - who had come from Chennai).

The other get together was hosted by KT at his house. A complete overload of food which Aunty happily gets ready every time we are there.

Vishu Trip

As usual this year also we went to Kannur for Vishu vacation. A peaceful time at Kerala, though the temperatures have been scorching up every summer (or probably my body is getting weaker to manage these temperatures).  Along with the usual visits, we played Monopoly.

Ani Echi made Mathi (Sardine) pickle along with Mango pickle and passed it to me. Gave Vishu kayi neetam to Babu Etan and Ani Echi kids (Rs.100). Gave to Mridu also:) This would be the first time i have given Vishu Kayineetam to my next generation.

Happy 7the B'day!!!

Sid's turned 7 (well time has been passing really fast). This year we planned differently and took 2 days off outing within perimeters of Bangalore.

Day 1: Planned @ Clarks Exotica

It was quite relaxing with such huge property to walk around and absolute no disturbances (except for the flight overhead ever 3 minutes :P). Given we planned it during weekday, it meant the place was kind of exclusive for us with hardly few more folks around. We used the Swimming Pool during morning hours and it was great (unfortunately the kids water slide was under maintenance).

 Day 2:Planned@ Olde Bangalore

 This place was exclusively for us (i could spot only one group which had come as part of corporate function - day activity - around 8-10 folks). This had motorbike and cycling. Cycling was great with all 3 of us cycling together and the layout having great roads to cycle.

The complementary cake provided by the hotel added to the service which was really nice, which we cut next to poolside with only us to cherish. 
 The tent house was a nice place to stay (though Clarks which was cheaper turned out as better option as hospitality). Olde Bangalore scored point with the options it had, cycling, motor bike, cookies etc.

40 - Me...No!!!

Turned 40 this year and it was as sweet and simple birthday celebration (home made cake and with family:)). What better way to celebrate the bday... just loved it.

VKSC Champs

It was VKSC baddy tournament [02 & 03-Jul]. We ended up lifting the trophy.
Day 1: I lost both my doubles matches, but team went through to Semis as it was best of 3.
Day 2: Played one single (sem-final) and one doubles (finals) and won both for the team. The doubles was the final deciders for the winners.

IPL - BLR vs GL

Finally made it to IPL match @ Chinnaswamy stadium. This was between Bangalore vs Gujarat Lions. Rohit, DK & Arnav were company for the match.

Football mania

With summer vacations, and Mee & Sid off to Tuticorin, I was all up playing football. Alwyn managed to get folks together (completely unknown), through FB and whatsapp. Played 3-4 weekends football, and I must say it was not easy, but was super fun:). Got SMR folks also hooked:)
